Boarding fees and policies are subject to change.
Boarding Policy
Overnight boarding charges are by the calendar night. You are charged for the night of arrival, regardless of arrival time. There is no charge for the night of departure if your pet is picked up before our 1pm checkout time. Pets picked up after 1pm will be charged for a full night of boarding unless you have scheduled a day play appointment or a full bath or haircut on the date of departure.
Personal Items
You are welcome to bring your pet's personal belongings such as toys and bedding. For your pet's safety, rawhide and animal hooves are not permitted. Please label all items with your pets name. We offer Natural Balance or Canidae dry food for our guests, or you may bring your own. There is no additional charge for administering medications, special feeding needs or special handling. The Golden Paw cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Health & Safety Requirements
Vaccination Requirements
We recommend that pets with overdue vaccinations receive them at least two weeks prior to their boarding, Day Play or grooming appointment. All vaccinations must be current with your veterinarian. We require the following vaccinations for dogs:
• Rabies
• Bordatella (every 6 months)
• DHLPP
Parasites
The Golden Paw uses highly effective cleaning methods and systems to maintain the most sanitary conditions possible. For this reason, all guests are examined for parasites upon check-in and are required to have a flea bath, if needed. There is an additional charge for this service.
Date of Departure Deal
If you would like to schedule a full bath or haircut appointment on the date of your pet's departure, you may pick your pet up after our 1pm checkout time, and you will be charged only for the grooming appointment and not the night of boarding. Your pet will come home smelling fresh and clean! Dogs who have passed their Day Play Evaluation can spend up to 6 hours of their date of departure in Day Play and you will be charged only for the Day Play and not the boarding for that night.
